Saturday the 19th, boy holds girl

I stepped off the plane in Tacloban at 6 o'clock in the morning there was already warm probably 70 degrees. The anticipation of what was about to happen had my heart beating a million miles a minute, my knees were weak, and my head was spinning. Honestly I haven't felt like this since I was a teenager a million and one thoughts coursed through my head. Just like that teenage boy that walked before a girl to profess his love, I had my fears and I had my worries. I came off the steps from the plane and spotted the entrance to the airport terminal, with a deep breath I went to seal my fate, this is the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with and I knew that first meeting would tell me everything. I came into the baggage area of the terminal which is open air and looked out across the crowd of people anxiously awaiting loved ones family and friends coming off the plane, and then my eyes met hers. Some people you meet look great in photos, have their hair just right, and just are beautiful but what I see when I looked into her eyes was Beauty almost angelic. My heart pounded so hard I could hear it in my ears. This girl was more beautiful than I could ever imagine and she was standing there waiting for me. Suddenly I forgot about my bags, I forgot every romantic word I had that I was going to say, and all I could think over and over again was "my God I love you Bhel". I made my way through the crowd to her a nervous smile crept across her face as I put my arms through the gating and embraced her in that moment I knew my heart had found a home. I didn't want to break the embrace I really don't care about my bags, I just wanted to hold her. As baggage begin to unload I reluctantly pulled Myself Away and move to the baggage claim area. Standing there waiting for my bags almost killed me I couldn't imagine any other place to be besides her arms. I will always want to be in her arms.

With bags in hand we made our way to the cab that Bhel had secured for us. The driver was awesome Pleasant news way to traffic and get us quickly to my first hotel, hotel XYZ in Tacloban City. The hotel staff got us checked in with early check in for only an additional 1000 php. I and Bhel  retired to our room to have our first private embrace. The rooms are comfortable with soft Earth Tone shades accented with purple, and the quiet landed it's self to the peace of having Bhel in my arms.

Manila in bound

Manila in bound,

The 18th I arrived in Manila air port, tired but excited to at long last see my Bhel. The airport it's self is not unlike most international airport, with a couple of exceptions. I landed Nad contacted Bhel who was about to go to sleep. I told her I would message her on the way out to my connection ton to Tacloban, and bid my love a good night's rest. My Tacloban flight wasn't due to leave until 4:30 and the told me I couldn't check in till 1am. I hoped to grab a sleep capsule at Wings bit they were booked solid, in the future I will make a reservation . Wings lounge is none flight affiliate with any airline and offers massage, showers, sleep capsules, food, sleep lounge, and even bunk rooms for families. I ended up finding a corner, curling up, and setting my tagit for anti theft so I could sleep. At 1 I checked in to the airline and then proceeded to the departure area for the long wait. due to a last minute gate change and running like hell I didn't get to message Bhel about my departure and prayed she wouldn't be mad.

The differences I noted was the endless amount of people asking to help you with your bag, finding a Sim card, finding your terminal, and finding a taxi of course all for a tip.

Reaccount of heaven

I have fallen behind in the post, and will now start the possess of catching up. I sit here back to work in the US, and wish I could hold her one more time. To quell this heart ache I will recount for you the best 14 days of my life so far. Know this, although we are only engaged in the eyes of my government, is my heart she is my wife and0 I will always love her. Bhel you are my everything.

She is god fearing and loyal, in short the. In short amazing woman I have ever known. It's Sunday morning and I am fighting back the tears, I love her so much, how can I leave here, how can I not be by her side. God please let this K1 go fast.

It's the night before my flight, and I have butterflies.I start my journey to Bhel at 5 a.m. tomorrow morning when I get up, get dressed, get the girls dressed, and head out the door at 6. Tonight I worked on our I-129F. I have the entire document put together, and ready for signatures. Initially the forms looked very daunting, but after reading the instructions they're actually quite easy. I understand of course that if there is multiple children involved on the foreign fiance's side then there's quite a bit more to fill out. Given our situation where Bhel is single and has no kids, it was quite easy. A couple of things of note I'd put together an itinerary pack  the other day detailing every place we will be going and staying and last night realize that I can use this is our proof of having met along with pictures. I'll save my boarding passes, slide them into the appropriate pages, and tada I have proof with of meeting. The other thing that is important to save is all Western Union receipts, and receipts for gifts purchased for your foreign fiance, as additional proof of ongoing relationship.

Little red dress

I came home to a nice surprise. The dress that I and Bhel ordered for her off from tbdress.com came in today. Bhel's favorite color is red, and we found a great little number at a very reasonable price. One thing we are learning is that ordering from sites such as tbdress.com that are located in China is that it can take awhile for them to get your product to you. We have been worried that it would not arrive in time for the trip I'm glad it did. I can't wait to post pictures of her in it. In the meantime here's a picture of the dress and the shoes in their packaging.

Paypal, like an old friend

For those of you who don't know PayPal is a wonderful web payment service. They serve as an extra layer of protection when using your bank account and your credit cards online. I said earlier when talking about transferring money that I'd found a lower-cost solution and Pay Pal is that. After talking with the staff at PayPal I determined that I would be able to have them issue a second card on my account with Bhel's name on it. By doing this I would get a PayPal debit card with bhel's name on it that she could use in the Philippines. PayPal does charge a dollar fifty fee for withdrawing funds at an ATM, but does not charge an international service fee for transactions done in other countries. PayPal confirmed that if the card is activated in the Philippines it will be listed as primarily being used in the Philippines and thus will not flag the account. I'm hoping that Bhel's card arrives before I travel to the Philippines next week but if it doesn't we will try our hand at sending our first care package when I get back.
